Looktarn grew up in a rural school where the environment wasn’t supportive of speaking English. She began practicing English on her own by watching cartoons dubbed in English, reading English subtitles, and gradually absorbing vocabulary, sentences, and accents. When she entered university, her English skills expanded as she used the language more—speaking with international friends, watching series, and reading English articles. Today, Looktarn has become a flight attendant, using English as her main way to communicate with passengers. She is a young woman who never had access to expensive tutoring or an international school education but has a heart full of determination. “English is not for the naturally talented, but for those who never give up.”
